Dziwnym faktem jest to, że autobus ten posiada tablice rejestracyjne z Wyoming - być może jest to spowodowane tym, że w stanie California nie można rejestrować pojazdów z silnikiem diesla (na pewno nie można samochodów osobowych), albo normami czystości spalin.

The "lounge" consists of a 54-by-16-foot carriage mounted on a scissor truck, capable of carrying 102 passengers. They were designed by the Chrysler Corporation in association with the Budd Company. The conveyances are sometimes nicknamed "moon buggies" for the similar appearance of their tires with those of the Lunar Rover.

Z powodu zakupu hybrydowych New Flyerów D40LF, zakończenie eksploatacji autobusów TMC RTS-08 planowane jest jeszcze na 2007 rok, a nie, jak wcześniej podawano - 2008.
