VOLVO in Hong Kong is called 富豪(Fu hao),so nicked as "Bai Hao".( 白 Bai is Chinese, means white)
That's unusual! Another question - why do you use doubledeck buses? Is this kind of tradition or it's smoehow economically justified?
First Hong Kong was British colony before 1997,the city develops as a GB style.
Many highway between hills and the narrow road or path down town in Hong Kong. And most bus line here is from the down town (Tism Sha Tsui,Mong Kok) to the suburban (The new Territories,Lantau Island).Almost the local people take a bus line for a long journey. So more seats for a bus is very important,Hong Kong choose the drouble-decker buses.(The tram or subway constraction in Hong Kong is very late, from 1970s)
I'm a normal visitor to Hong Kong, for a 4-day-trip there. So took some pix and put here.
