W holenderskich miastach istnieją duże obostrzenia w ruchu samochodów - ograniczona liczba zawsze płatnych i drogich miejsc do parkowania, liczne zakazy ruchu nieobejmujące komunikacji miejskiej, szlabany, słupki itp. Bardzo rozwinięta jest tam jednocześnie koncepcja P&R. W Maastricht po zaparkowaniu samochodu na bezpłatnym parkingu w pobliżu autostrady na obrzeżach miasta można skorzystać z wahadłowego autobusu dowożącego do samego centrum miasta. Bilet za przejazd kosztuje 1€ w obie strony dla wszystkich pasażerów samochodu - czyli tyle co nic.

To nie jest jakiś marginalny fragment sieci komunikacyjnej, tędy jeżdżą autobusy czterech linii - łącznie od ośmiu kursów na godzinę w obu kierunkach w leniwe niedziele do osiemnastu w szczycie w dni powszednie.

16 august 2015 - Maastricht, Koningin Emmaplein. Ponad sto lat temu w tym miejscu był przystanek końcowy tramwaju parowego do Glons i Maaseik. W 1908 roku po uruchomieniu linii do Montenaken plac stał się ważnym węzłem przesiadkowym. Budynek w tle z napisem "HALTE DU TRAM" mieścił wówczas m. in. kawiarnię, a właściwym dworcem tramwajowym był ten z różową elewacją, widoczny na zdjęciu za motocyklem i Volvo.

Citaro właśnie zakończyło kurs z belgijskiego Tongere (10:32) do głównego dworca kolejowego w Maastricht (11:10).Linia 62 jest obsługiwana przez podwykonawcę De Lijn, firmę De Morgenstond, w ramach koncesji na belgijską część Limburgii. Koncesja poza liniami regionalnymi obejmuje także komunikację miejską w Genk, Hasselt, Sint-Truiden i Tongeren. Niestety nie wiem jak oznaczyć organizatora.
